Benjis Playground

My marketing journey started with my final bachelor’s project. While pursuing my degree in fashion business, I was exploring sustainability and consumerism when Benji’s Playground emerged as my thesis idea. But this business and marketing plan had bigger ambitions than staying theoretical.
Two of my peers and I discovered a way to merge our passion for sustainability, animals, and innovation into a pet e-commerce brand focused on dog toys and backpacks.

Branding | Packaging | Infographics

Building Benji’s Playground taught me that marketing magic lives in the details. I crafted a brand identity that didn’t just look good – it told a story that made people care and feel connected. Every element mattered: the branding that felt authentic, the copy that spoke like a ‘fren’, the visuals that made you stop scrolling. I learned that emotional connection isn’t an accident – it’s architected.

Our sustainability passion drove every choice. I designed Benji’s Playground’s packaging to feel intentional – from the colors that reflected our values to the functionality that reduced waste. We wanted every unboxing to remind customers why they chose a brand that cared about more than just profit.

That’s where I learned that good design is really good translation. Crafting infographics for Benji’s Playground meant turning dense sustainability information into visuals that people actually wanted to share. I discovered that when you make complex ideas accessible and engaging, you’re not just educating your audience – you’re building trust and deepening brand loyalty.

Future Fashion Fair

During my time at Future Fashion Fair, I discovered the power of community-driven marketing. I created social media strategies and initiatives designed to bring our eco-minded community together, including #PurpleSaturday and a street interview – an initiative where I took to the streets of Manchester to question and educate people about the environmental impact of fast fashion. My approach blended creativity with data insights, crafting platform-specific content for Instagram and TikTok that resonated with each audience.

Throughout my time with FFF, I built genuine relationships with over 20 independent designers, aligning our affiliate partnerships around shared sustainability values that our eco-conscious followers and event-goers truly connected with. Through multi-platform campaigns featuring influencer collaborations and strategic partnerships, we boosted event attendance and increased ticket sales by around 30% while growing our social media following by over 35%.
